Chronology of cameras Bellieni
The version in format 9 x 12 of the Bellieni Appareil de Poche was delivered in 1905, two years after the version in 8 x 10 format. The camera is very similar to the previous version, and the size only differs.
All the remaining features, including the Goerz Anschütz focal plane shutter, remain the same and similar to the 8 x 10 version.
he size 9 x 12 was more common in klapp cameras of this type in continental Europe and was probably developed by demand. The 8 x 10 size was closer to the quarte-plate format used in the UK and North America, but Bellieni developed it to keep the camera small to fit a pocket, as its name indicated.
